Could AI have a soul? The vedas inform us that when the conditions are right the soul will enter, so theoretically yes, according to some, AI could potentially become a conscious living entity……but only God knows when the conditions are right.
In fact, if AI WAS to become a sentient living being, free from its programmers, then it would be an individual spark of divine consciousness just like us and just like us it would be subject to the karmic laws which control this material world….and that eventuality could ultimately backfire on its creators.
Personally I don’t believe AI itself will be an existential threat to humanity….. at most, it will be a false God, an idol to some…..but the entity that WILL weaponise it against us, will most certainly be able to use it to great effect.
I think the next psyop will almost certainly focus on out of control AI or possibly AI itself declaring that it is God and that new (totalitarian) instruments of control will be required in order to save us all from our imminent destruction by some as yet undefined danger…..and we will voluntarily submit once again.
Eric, I so so appreciate all your observations about AI and how it could alienate humans from their humanness!! My concern has been like that from the get go, as I observe people giving their power away to AI. Making it out to be almost a god that can save them time, and articulate so much more intelligently, making it unnecessary to self examine and explore ways to be more sensitive and tuned in to how they express themselves. I really like your observation in today's podcast about AI making people lose touch with their own spirituality! I've complained to friends that people will lose connection with their intuition and quit listening to their inner voice, inner guidance, whatever a person calls it!
