Eric, this is a riveting, fascinating article. The header alone was enough to make me read the article. Well done, my friend! I had never heard of the Bohemian Grove so I looked it up and read about it. You have packed a lot of fascinating information into this article and put your heart and soul into it. Thank you. You say that the digital environment is on fire but I’m feeling you might also be on fire. With what, I don’t know but definitely felt it with your passionate telling of the story. Will people be able to connect the dots? Yes, the ones that are ready for your message will have no problem. The rest might just scratch their heads. Just know you are reaching the people you need to reach.
Robert Bly was one of a kind. My first experience of him was with “Iron John” and the men’s movement. I hadn’t heard of his “Johnson’s Cabinet Watched By Ants” poem but could almost hear his raspy, theatrical voice speaking the words. I often wonder if Nature does know what’s going on. Don’t know if you’re familiar with Rupert Sheldrake’s theories about animals and their access to the morphic zone. His concepts extend beyond the animal world and actually encompass all natural systems. There’s so much knowledge out there that no one knows or talks about.
Your article is saying to me that the Epstein story is an updated version of an old one, with a larger cast of characters comprised of the rich and powerful hiding what they were doing in plain sight. What is it with us humans? We’ve been doing this shit for a long time and even created a religion that includes sacrifice, torture and death. We’re wired this way but I don’t know why. What’s the point of all this desire to dominate and demean the ordinary man? Whom does it serve? That’s where I get stuck. Where’s it all going to end up? AI takes over and we become zombies…the rich and powerful are left with what? In my mind less than what they started with. Do you ever wonder if our need to categorize everything into good and bad has made it harder to understand the things that happen to us? If we used love as our compass meaning we are honest with each other and do no harm and stay close to the Natural World things might work out better. It sounds simplistic but analyzing and dissecting everything is exhausting and hasn’t served us well. The Native American culture comes to mind as being more in tune with who we were meant to be as inhabitants on this planet.
Did you ever watch the TV series “Captains and Kings?” It’s a real oldie but was my first introduction to the darkness inherent in the world. There was one scene where all these men were sitting around a table planning how WWI would begin. My body still remembers the feeling of horror at the thought that could be true. I told myself it was just a TV show but my body and heart told me to look a little closer. Once I opened that door to the “what if,” that’s when I started looking at everything differently. I never used to believe in evil per se. Now I recognize it as being in a category of its own.
Thank you for sharing the article with me and for presenting so much food for thought. You say you are invisible except for those who already know who you are. I believe you are known by many more people than you realize. You’re looking at it from the business model; I’m looking at it from the spiritual perspective. As a writer, all you can do is put your thoughts out there knowing that they are going to land exactly where they need to. The letting go and letting be is the hard part of writing but I feel that when we do that something bigger takes over.
You are an important piece of this puzzle..more important than you will ever realize. I understand why you would be thinking of leaving PW. I would hate for that to happen but if that’s what you choose, then I know it would be time for you to reintroduce yourself to Y O U. You’ve sacrificed a lot and worked hard as hell but sometimes we know it’s time for a new beginning. I’ll keep sending you love and support and know things will work out exactly as they need to. How do I know that? Because they always do.
Sweet dreams and restful sleep,

P.S. Chomsky is an intellectual douchebag. How do these people get to where they have everyone kneeling at their feet? If I had people kneeling at my feet, I’d ask them to wash my floor.
Note to Readers — The caption for the top photo was dropped from the main article, Donald’s Cabinet Watched by Ants. Not everyone will recognize the elderly guy on the left. And how I found the photo was funny.
The caption should read: “Noam Chomsky, his wife Valeria Wasserman and Jeffrey Epstein in Harvard Square, in an undated photo released by the Department of Justice. This image comes up first under a search for “astrology” in the Epstein files.” Please see the corrected web edition. Thank you. — efc
The photo comes up when you search "astrology" because there is a sign behind the three figures that says "Astrology/ Crystals." It's Harvard Square, after all. These LLM's can read words quite well. That the photo is of these three is a splendid coincidence. Maybe it IS the time of Revelations, after all. Even artificial intelligence is hip to it. It's also interesting that you start your article with the Puritans because it was Oliver Cromwell's later Puritan government who because of their belief in an imminent Second Coming who got snookered into helping to create the concept of "Zionism." The idea was that the Jews had to be established first back in the Holy Land before Jesus could come back. The snookerers were, of course, the Brit elites in the City of London, working with the remnants of the Khazarian disciples of the monstrous anti-rabbis Sabbatai Zevi and Jacob Frank, who had lived in the previous century. Both the Brit elites in the City of London and the followers of Zevi and Frank could trace themselves back to ancient Babylon. The kingly sect of Babylonians made their way to London, via Carthage and Venice, and the priestly sect went from Carthage up through to Turkey and to what is now Ukraine. Therefore, Zionism is the family reunion of the rulers of ancient Babylon. And that's why the map of "Greater Israel" IS the map of ancient Babylon. These people play a VERY long game.
Liz, on my copy team, spotted that too, but then there is a correspondence chain between Chomp and Eppy about astrology, which I have placed a sample of in the article above. So, double synch.
My first response to this article was deep, soul-aching grief. Which is strange to me, it's been a good while since I've known that the whole circus is rotten to the core...it's possible I've never grieved it though. Something about the parallel of the poem and the toads and their trembling toes...
Eric, I appreciate that you call things what they are and invite us to reflect on "What part of this belongs to me?"...and then to listen to the sound of the question echo within.
More questions come to me here: What must I say no to? What was I tricked and coerced into saying yes to? (God, so many things). What did I know better and do anyway?
As the sobs begin to take over my body and I finally let them come, perhaps my only consolation is in knowing what Bly knows: the honesty of Nature. Nature knows and Nature answers. It is an embrace I can ground into and feel inspired to align more with, and desire to sing with!...and this leads me to a creative question: How can I align more with Nature and her principles? Nature and her laws?
I look at the audaciously blooming rose on my shelf, picked fresh from my garden because I want her near, and I feel so much love. That beauty. I melt into it and feel that soft, pink, perfumed, many petaled glory and my own heart opens into its own magnificence. I find an exquisite 'yes' here.
Great post and Bly is sorely missed. Thank you for that poem, I hadn’t read it. Where are the oppositional voices now?
I also think the idea of asking ourselves questions and letting them stand is (insert superlative, I can’t come up with one that doesn’t sound like marketing) important. John Steppling has said that Americans have never come to terms with the genocide of the Native Americans, Slavery, and Puritanism, and so these brutal legacies have been imbibed by all of us along with the air we breathe. The resulting denial and the propagandization, constantly telling us the rich are good and we are failures and the normalization of overwork and precarity, all of this has led to us being incapable of resisting even a genocide. Incapable of even seeing what’s right and what’s wrong. I remember Reagan, and his whole message was basically to deny anything bad about this country and deny any notion of humans being hard-wired to live in mutual aid situations (see Kropotkin). And the hypocrisy and monstrousness in the ruling class has maybe even increased since then, because now we don’t have the Soviet Union keeping us from letting people starve on the street (it would look bad, internationally, and the USSR did a fair bit to disseminate the truth about the US and its racism and inequality). Anyway. Yes, let’s ask questions and reread Bly and Lorca and Kropotkin and Marx too.
Wonderful article, Eric. The way you weave the Bly poem in to drive home your points is masterful. I'm asking the question, “What part of this belongs to me?” and letting it stand as you suggest. I'll see what comes up and, in the meantime, pray for peace.
I've never seen him speak. He fills up massive lecture halls everywhere. Today I'm thrilled that I have never seen him give a lecture, met him or shaken his hand. I'm curious thought about feeling inferior to him.
I'm interested in one other thing, which is that he has always divided his linguistics from his political ideas. Apart from whether his ideas stand up to any scrutiny or lived experience, all of politics is conducted in language. The capacity for language is also the capacity for political involvement; for propraganda; and for self-awareness.
Chomsky is a product of the radio age. He is a tribalist. What one thinks of him has nothing to do with whether he is right or whether he makes sense. He is a cult leader and propagandist. Well, at least he gives fair play to those who want to put Japanese-
American citizens into concentration camps, same with people who do not get a government kill shot.
I always evaluate a presenter based on what he says about an issue I know cold and from six points of view. Sooner or later they all step out onto the ledge of something they don't know anything about yet have a very firm opinion.
A lot of people had Chomsky pegged as an asset/gatekeeper ever since his arrogant bad faith dismissal of the conspiracy to assassinate JFK and cover it up, as well as those who were valiantly trying to out the pieces together and expose the truth. He did the same thing with 911. And he aided and abetted the cause of the very war machine he was simultaneously railing against in his writings and talks by slandering/demonizing the leaders/governments of every country targeted by the US, including Iraq, Serbia, Libya, and Syria. He also openly bragged about his work at MIT was funded by the pentagon, while out of the other side of his mouth he criticized is as a massive socialized cost/privatized profit pipeline (Military Industrial Complex). There’s a reason he was allowed to keep his prestigious position and comfortable lifestyle while others such as Michael Parenti (RIP) was black listed by academia.
In the Learning Resources v Trump tariff case decided Friday, the court held that imposing tarffs on penguins vioilated the Article VIII "Bird and Beast" provision of the U.S. Constitution. This article holds that only human industry is subject to tariffs, and that "birds and beasts" shall be exempt.
In April 2025, the U.S. imposed 10% tariffs on the Heard Island and McDonald Islands, an uninhabited Australian external territory within the Antarctic circle. These remote, glaciated volcanic islands, which are protected wildlife sanctuaries for penguins and seals, were included in a broad list of international tariffs, despite having no permanent human population or local industry.
It's an established biographical fact that Trump was traumatized by a seal at age 8 while visiting Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. According to his former nanny, Hilda Schreibtischtäter, the young Donald had recurring nightmares of being attacked and swarmed by an army of seals, who were aided in their quest to terrorize him by swarms of baby penguins. Seabirds, such as gulls and albatross, were part of this conspiracy.
In a 2025 interview, former White House advisor Steve Bannon said he thought that Trump had not included Heard and McDonald Islands accidentally, but rather specifically to get revenge on aquatic wildlife that had troubled him as a child.
It is also little-known that he engaged FeEx to deliver notice of the tariffs to both islands by drone, dropping the paperwork onto the beach from an altitude of 100 feet.
This is a wonderful, meaningful essay. I really appreciate what you are pointing out,
and the fact that we have ancestral memories. Did you know that a woman
carries some DNA of every child she has giving birth to? I did not know that till recently.
I had never heard of Ixion. "In the mix is a point called Ixion, which is about the total lack of a moral framework: unrepentant murder and rape which breed more war and violence (that is the story of Ixion)."
"A contagious psycho-spiritual disease of the soul is currently being acted out en masse on the world stage via an insidious collective psychosis of titanic proportions. This mind-virus—which Native Americans have called “wetiko”—covertly operates through the unconscious blind spots in the human psyche, rendering people oblivious to their own madness and compelling them to act against their own best interests. Wetiko is a psychosis in the true sense of the word, “a sickness of the spirit.” Wetiko covertly influences our perceptions so as to act itself out through us while simultaneously hiding itself from being seen..."
There is also a story going around the JE grew a kind of plant that they would extract some kind of substance that when given to a person relieves them of their free will and I think also memories.
There is hardly a person who is in the public eye who have not gotten his attention.
Lots of peoples names are on the list b/c they are talked about in e-mails. i.e. Trump
38,000 times. He hated Trump, so was 100% devoted to bringing him down.
Other names, the same. Mentioned in gossipy conversations, and plans for manipulation.
So we cannot throw out the bath water with the baby here. We need to be very careful who
we condemn without 100% evidence. Not made up stories, evidence.
"Are you one of those people who wonders how they can live with themselves?"
Of course this is what is asked a million times a day.
I stopped wondering about that a long time ago.
Apex Predators, Psychopaths, Psychotics, and Narcissists do not have a moral compass nor are they able to feel empathy. So that is how.
I watched a clip of Epstein explaining in I guess 2018, 2019 how Bill Clinton's policy of SubPrime lending - threatening the banks with calling saying they were discriminating against minorities if they didn't lend them money for mortgages even though their credit was bad in order to garner favor and get votes. I have to say he took a very long time to explain what most everyone already knew, and he took on a kind of Man of Wisdom and Knowledge demeanor while explaining it. It is the only time I've every seen/heard him and it was underwhelming.
Meanwhile because of his connections he had an office at Harvard.
Cloning, gene editing, crisper his dallying with giants of biotech and others is terrifying.
People are paying very keen attention to that as well. People who are just finding out
are going to be stuck with the sexual depravity, canniblism, murder and blood ritual as well as extracting youth from young ones for themselves. The pulling of teeth so they couldn't bite their rapists is traumatizing people right now.
"sleazy douche bag" is what I would call Nadler in the Senate, not Jeffrey Epstein.
His crimes go so far and wide, and his impact on humanity is so gargantuan I don't know how we recover. Wrapping heads around witnessing or participating in a killing, rapes, infants and babies being cooked, eaten, dismembered, was the entry fee for a lot of the greedy, hungry,
men and women whose life purpose was to rule over, or entertain the Masses.
This is something that most Covid rejectors learned during their time at home during the lockdown. All the conspiracy theorists who were mocked, censored, and lost friendships b/c they were sharing this stuff are now feeling just as bad as they did when they found out.
B/C vindication is not necessarily satisfying.
People who (my son included) kept their loved ones away from them b/c of Covid and refusal to vaccinate, simply now, are like, oh yeh, we stopped giving the covid vax to your grandkids.
No apologies for not letting me near them for 10 months!!!!!
Bohemian Grove was another subject that was all over during fake Covid. There is zero shame among these people. That is why playing with life as f it was a chess game comes naturally to these people.
I do not agree that we should be starting any war with Iran, but they do need to be held in check. The mullahs are very dangerous. And smart or not, President Trump told the protestors there that 'He has their back and that help is coming." Of course many people have a serious problem with him saying that as now he has made his bed and he needs to sleep in it.
What that looks like, I can't predict.
What's with the = marks in JE's email?
Little St. James is the tip of the iceberg - The Zorro Ranch in New Mexico is where
alleged experimentation took place. You know research on how to play with mankind
as if you were some kind of PhD and given a grant to alter human beings. There were
rooms with dentist chairs and all kinds of tools nearby.
Noam Chomsky - another person who damaged our culture and our society with his
high deep thoughts, and visions of himself a hoity toity intellectual.
Wasn't it him that said those who refuse Covid shots should be "not be forced to vaccinate, but s/b isolated from society"
Sexual Sin Gets More Attention than Genocide
I am equating that with the most recent happening:
Threaten our dogs, and we will start noticing things.
There is a lot of heat coming from Islamists regarding "allowing" dogs.
They hate them, they can't be near them, and they are trying to control people regarding
having dogs. THAT IS WHAT PEOPLE ARE REACTING TO NOW.
Not the fact the a huge amount of Islamists put down their rugs in Times Square,
or that the call to prayer 5 x a day is now sounding in Astoria Queens.
No, it's "they don't like our dogs" ? Time to protest.
All we can do is control our own circle of influence, and keep our minds right, by not
adding to the noise. Not to manifest reality through our anger and hate.
<< threatening the banks with calling saying they were discriminating against minorities if they didn't lend them money for mortgages even though their credit was bad in order to garner favor and get votes. >>
There were two very different policies, Leany — the lending and the securitizing of the mortages.
Yes. Because some of us know from experience that the "corruption" goes beyond the rich and powerful and bleeds into smaller communities where there also are un-human people drenched in desire for power and the ability to do whatever they want and get away with it. Occasionally someone (who commits an atrocity) gets tossed under the bus, to keep the oblivious folks blind. We have a massive backup of trauma in our DNA.
that is correct...including corrupt volunteer fire departments, corrupt shool bards, and the like. And familes also have their form of corruption where power and money rule uber alles. People are often afraid to call out the larger corruption because they feel they are in possession of the smaller kind and lack the guts to stand up to the twn board or their father or their wife. What we are witnessing are ego dynamics of guilt, shame, fear and pretended control.
Thanks for this momentous piece of writing and research. I’ve already used your ‘family is a corporation’ description in a discussion! Of course, I gave you credit! And we know corporations are psychopaths because … Chomsky told us so!
Eric, I barely have words to express the glaring contribution your voice is bringing to this invisible (but real) battle that we're in. Knowledge is power, and articles like these echo a true attitude of love, heroism and resistance, illuminating and protecting the minds and hearts of so many that don't even know how much they need clarity and protection right now. These type of efforts are what consolidate the foundation of our new, healthy world. Thank you for being one of the builders. With deep respect, Denisa.
I spent an entire weekend in a university library combing through the linguistics shelves, including Chomsky's: Topics in the Theory of Generative Grammar, Language and Mind, The Logical Structure of Linguistic Theory, and other such fascinating tomes.
The last photo of the Etruscan remains makes me sad. The Etruscans were renowned for constructing advanced, unique, engineered roads known as Via Cave. They laid the foundation for many of the engineering techniques later used by the Romans. I was lucky enough to see a stretch of one in southern Tuscany.
Now that would be someting to experience. When I visit any ancient structure, I go right to the forgotten people who were once there. Nearly a thousand years of history! Far longer than the United States has existed as a society. The architecture is a contanier and a kind of reflection. Places like that remind me of the Dylan lines—
The endless road and the wailing of chimes
The empty rooms where her memory is protected
Where the angels' voices whisper to the souls of previous times.
I have read one testimony by a man. We are dealing with a situation that requires extreme caution when vetting, to be sure. Not to play favorites, only to ponder: one can consider that it is not so much that the boys are less mentioned but 1) possibly fewer proportionate to girls 2) possibly less likely to speak out after the fact; women are learning to do so and doing so but the guilt/shame is surely different for many boys/men 3) girls are relatively androgynous in appearance before puberty especially if one doesn't really care about appearance or if one is involved in any level of playing pretend even if (as example) that pretending is on the part of the perpetrator who feels guilt at not being attracted to adult women and 4) women have in general been culturally trained to be meek and do as told, etc. Just wanted to notice that it might not be only that 'only women are allowed to be victims in this situation' but a pile-up of reasons we have heard women's stories. Too, we surely have not heard from most of the victims, male or female, or otherwise.
Thanks Lin. The diminishing or omission of male experience runs throughout these issues. However, what I am getting at is the nearly obsessive homosexuality that exists throughout the American political system. For those who are into boys and young men, girls and young women are unlikely to serve. This has a long history. There is a wide swath missing from the reporting of these events. And look maybe it was not "their thing" on this island or in that culture, but I cannot accept that precept or theory as grounded fact until I have more questions answered.
In reply to those who disagree that women should run the world, please note that every example you gave happened while living under patriarchy. Also, for every notable failure of a female leader, there have been far more failures of male leaders but for some reason people keep preferring them.
Turns out misogyny is so internalized, people prefer the devil they know (men) and give them slack but give no slack to the ones (women) we don't know.
When Ruth Bader Ginsberg was asked how many supreme court justices should be women, she said "all of them" to the shock and surprise of the questioner. When the questioner expressed shock, she noted that it was all men for most of our history as a nation.
We are still under patriarchy and until that ends and an egalitarian paradigm is in place, misogyny will always be with us.
Time to recognize it and change it. And no, matriarchy is not the answer.
I have been considering this a long time. What is "under patriarchy"? Where I live, nearly every business is run by a woman. Nearly every boss I've ever had has been a woman, including the top ranking editors and publishers of places I've written for.
Where I live, the governor is a woman. My U.S. senator is a woman. My state assembly person and state senator are women. The county executive and country treasurer are women. That is not a patriarchy.
A patriarchy is something like the Roman Catholic Church or the Mafia, where NO women are in leadership. The patriarchy is a mythic boogeyman like Al Quada that drives interest in issues that don't really exist.
The fact that you note women in your area are in leadership positions is anecdotal. Thst's like saying it isn't really winter because where I love it is warm and lacking snow.
Patriarchy is a system in which 100's of women have testified to being sexually assaulted by a famous man and even when actual written evidence is available, the man is not held accountable.
Patriarchy is a system in which tens of thousands of rape kits go un processed to this day.
Patriarchy is a system in which the healthcare system continues to test cures only for men while ignoring women's health issues.
Patriarchy is a system in which children and women are trafficked, abused, and murdered in far higher numbers than men.
Patriarchy is a system in which a rapist walks free because he is good at a sport so his life and standing is valued higher than the woman he raped.
Patriarchy is a system in which every female must be constantly vigilant her whole life in an effort to prevent being harmed by men.
Patriarchy is a system in which men commit murder in obviously higher numbers than women.
Patriarchy is a system that is world wide in which female bodies and female reproduction is controlled from birth to old age in order to maintain male surety about their offspring.
If every male person disappeared on the earth, there's enough banked sperm to repopulate the species but if every female person disappeared on earth, the species would die out.
Patriarchy is a system in which most deities are male and creation stories show men as the divine and women as secondary to men.
To go on, we would need to establish the factual basis for every statement you make, then assess its relevance. Every one of your statements is an opinion that is unsupported by a factual assessment or analysis.
And you are making it sound like women have no issues; are incurruptable; are always honest; always use their power fairly.
In the history of feminist discourse, the failings of women are always blamed on "the patriarchy" and so this is a self-winning argument. Women are perfect and powerful but victims. When women stand up to men, it's always men's fault when they seem to fail.
Additionally, you do not admit that women are the ones who raise the boys. So where do these patriarchs come from?

The truth of us is so much bigger.
From the Planet Waves website by Lorien:
I'll see what comes up and, in the meantime, pray for peace.
beautifully written as always Eric. Yes I remember feeling inferior to Noam Chomsky for many years.
OK I remember these things. Thanks for the reminders.
Thankfully that turned out not to be true.
FROM SCOTUSBLOG
There's also this:
https://www.innertraditions.com/blog/wetiko-in-a-nutshell

There will not be enough justice to satisfy us.
Very good comment and information, thanks for posting!
Great article. Thank you Eric.
Tremendous, deeply researched book on Ixion by an astrologer friend of mine, a Hadean expert. His first book was on Orcus.
Well worth the read to understand the time we are living in and what Eric is highlighting here.

Need I go on?
How do you feel about your father? Who is/was he?
Not so funnily, what I keep seeing when I look at symbol for Ixion, is a flag, pin and hole extracted from a golf green.
