Great take on the most pressing issue of our time. I’m curious if you’ve read “The Fourth Turning”, about civilizational cycles and rhythms. It struck me that viewing that book with an astrological eye could flesh out the details.
I had a friend who was deep into it and explained a lot of it to me. Unfortunately, the theory falls apart: the Millennials were supposed to save us all. Also the long periods of time addressed in the book do not comport with astrology, which contains all kinds of microclimates, special years, unusual events which resonate with other unusual events at seemingly random times, etc. We can all agree that the Baby Boomers are obsessed with fame and will leave all of their money to one spoiled cocker spaniel.
