Taking your words here to heart as the media, no matter what version, is so frenzied. Also love the composition of your wood stack photo, very grounding.
Interesting photo of the makeshift wall. I can send similar photos of our makeshift fence, which developed over time as our Newfoundland, Zoe, got over the cyclone fence quite easily.
This article got me thinking about which of the shifts between Fixed and Double-Bodied/Mutable Signs would intuitively feel the most drastic.
While that’s a bit hard to pin down, I’d think the Earth-Air shift would have to be a strong contender.
I also like to consider the direct, lived experience of moving from sign to sign.
Taurus Season in central Japan has a very lazy, heavenly quality to it, and the government is kind enough to provide four holidays as April ends and May begins. This period is known as Golden Week and is defined by outdoor barbecues, bike rides with the kids and plenty of chances to take photos of gorgeous blooming things.
As Gemini Season begins, though, we get our first taste of the coming summer and because the school year here runs from April to March, with about a six-week summer break in late July and August, it always felt like this is the time of year that can feel most busy with no end in sight. Add on to that the Sun rising around 4 am (no Daylight Savings here) and the days can feel elongated and overwhelming.
There’s still the youthful energy of spring underneath it all but it’s kind of like the “we ain’t fucking around” phase has begun.
Just knowing this, I suspect Uranus’ transit through Gemini will be rather exhausting at times, but as a Cancer Rising, I’m planning to give myself a lot of permission to seclude myself with analog activities, including deeper exploration of my dream world. I’ve always had an active dream life, and would like to get serious about taking up a lucid dreaming practice and also focus more on giving my dreams a voice through my work.
Yea. Great design making young ones so cute so we don't thrash 'em when they drive ya nutty. Hopefully. At least lots of 'em make it to adulthood so they can have kids and keep this revolting-in-many-ways species happening...at least today.
