I'm gonna peruse the PW archives to see if I can answer my question here, but I'd love to learn more about Juno and wonder if you have previously published articles, videos, podcasts, etc. about it and/or if you have astrological sources you'd recommend for those of us who want to learn more.

I've never really engaged with Juno and only have a rudimentary understanding of her character in Greek mythology, but when you asked us if we had any thoughts about what the Juno/Pluto-Charon opposition to Jupiter/Vulcanus aspect might mean, the thought flashed in my head, "Battle of the sexes."

Haven't necessarily noticed any of those themes in various media rising, and maybe that thought is off or too on-the-nose, but figured I'd share it.

Now, I'll go look through the archives and if I find anything, I'll link it below (I've got both the time and inclination right now for such a task--anything to pass away another in this opening series of hot, humid Japanese summer nights!).

I’ve watched most of the first video but need to get back to it and give it a more attentive view as I used it as my “lullaby” video to get to sleep on a sultry Japanese summer night the other day.

There definitely is a lot of hype around this astro event and some of it is annoying, to be sure.

Having said that, I think the fact that Barbault had a long career of doing mundane astrology and was able to forecast the 2020 nonsense many years in advance makes his work worthy of considering.

As far as the aspect pattern goes, I think the preciseness of the degrees of these major outer planets and their shared masculine signs creating compatibility between them is what makes it stand out.

Having said that, the other day I stumbled upon finding a similar, if less exact, aspect pattern in the late 1990s, though it used Mars as one of the planets, which leads me to think that perhaps these things aren’t as rare as some are saying.

Anyway, glad to have an experienced and nuanced astrologer like you, Erik, on this story because you’re someone who’s not afraid to challenge the status quo and discover things most aren’t seeing. I look forward to finishing video 1 and watching video 2!

As with predicting terrorism on 9/11, the events of 2019 and 2020 were not merely an event in linear time. They involved a massive financial bailout, a tidal wave of shoving socieety onto the internet, and the forced injuection of mosts of the world — disgused as a pandemic. Anyone could have seen the conjunctions of first Saturn then Jupiter in Pluto and predicted a disruption...In my article Don't Look Back, I quote Tarnas's description of the Saturn-Pluto eras....all of this especailly after witnessing the transformation called in shorthand 9/11 but which was not a transitent incident but a total transformation of society with which we are still dealing. The question is whether it's in the contect of what was done with the crisis. So I would love to see this language.

Do you have any sample of that wording?

From Andre Barbault’s “A Survey of Pandemics” (article published in 2012):

“In the cyclical indices of the 19th and 20th centuries presented here, four categories of societal disruption are summarily distributed: squarely, epidemics; roundly, wars; crosswise, economic crises; and star-shaped, revolutions.

Returning to pandemics and looking back over the past century, the four crises of 1918, 1954, 1968 and 1982 stand out, the first of which was the first, the famous "Spanish flu", which is said to have killed 25 million people, and the last, where AIDS, which is even more devastating and continues to be deadly, took hold. Since then, there was also a small flu outbreak in 2009, just against the last lowest cyclical index (2010).

We may well be at serious risk of a new pandemic around 2020-2021 , at the lowest cyclical index peak of the entire 21st century, with the quintet of planets clustered together over a hundred degrees, a Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto conjunction being particularly, even specifically, amenable to the "fabric" of this imbalance. Nevertheless, this configuration can also transfer its core of dissonance to the terrain of geophysical catastrophes, without ultimately sparing the scene of international affairs, Nature and Society being indiscriminately affected.

The overall impression that one gets from the examination of these roughly treated tables is that the majority of the evils that afflict the planet are located mainly around the lower point of the cyclic index, time of conjunctions, when precisely the great difference between the center of gravity of the orbits of the planetary system and the core of the Sun occurs; and similarly, but less so, around the upper point of the same index, when the oppositions, another category of planetary alignment, prevail.
